4 steps to a perfect offseason for the Miami Heat

Following an improbable run to the NBA Finals in 2019-20, the Miami Heat witnessed how tough it is to repeat as Conference Champions this season.

Miami was swept by the Milwaukee Bucks in the first round of this year’s playoffs, prompting Pat Riley and the front office to take a long look at the roster.

Outside of Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo, no one else on the roster is guaranteed to be back with the team next season.

The Heat are expected to be significantly active in free agency and on the trade market in hopes to put together a contending roster.
