Isaiah Jackson
If Tom Thibodeau wants to bring in a cost-efficient big man that he can groom, the NBA Draft would provide that. The New York Knicks own the No. 19, 21 and 32 so they will have an opportunity to add some young talent to their roster.
If they want to add a center, Isaiah Jackson is a good player for them to target.
Jackson fits the mold of what Thibodeau wants in his centers. He is a springy athlete that is a difference-maker defensively. He averaged 2.6 blocks in only 20.8 minutes per game last season with the Kentucky Wildcats. Jackson is a solid rebounder and won’t turn 20 until January.
While he won’t provide much of an offensive game, but he did shoot 70 percent from the foul line. For a big man with limited range offensively, that is a solid number.

The Kentucky connection is also something to consider. New York has deep roots there currently and with CAA. Jackson is represented by, you guessed it, CAA. If he is on the board and the Knicks want a big man, he will be squarely on their radar.
