Dallas Mavericks Receive: G Bradley Beal

Washington Wizards Receive: C/F Kristaps Porzingis, G Jalen Brunson, G Josh Green and two future unprotected first-round picks

Seeing that the Dallas Mavericks would be getting a premier talent in Bradley Beal, the All-Star shooting guard would be the only piece they get in the trade.

The good news for Dallas is that Beal is under contract through the 2022-23 season, as long as he picks up his player option in 2022. But if the Mavericks can have success with Beal and Doncic together, that shouldn’t be a concern for Dallas.

On the other side of the trade, Hughes highlights Porzingis and Jalen Brunson as the two primary players heading to the Wizards. Porzingis, whether it be in a trade for Beal or someone else, has probably played his final game for the Mavericks already.

Injuries have been an issue for Porzingis in recent years and his play on the court hasn’t benefited from the injuries either. As for Brunson, he’s a young guard that has shown vast improvements in recent years.

To finish off the trade, Dallas would also send their first-round pick from last offseason in Josh Green, along with two future unprotected first-round picks.
