The Houston Rockets have a decision to make when draft night comes around. They currently hold the No. 2 pick in the 2021 NBA Draft and it seems unlikely that they will be willing to trade it. That could be changed if a team like the Oklahoma City Thunder offers one of their top players.

Houston has been completely selling stars this year. Both Russell Westbrook and James Harden were traded and this began the massive rebuild. They acquired Victor Oladipo but quickly sent him to Miami when he refused to sign an extension.

The new regime in the front office is moving quickly in regards to making moves. The Rockets finished with the worst record in the league this season but were given the second pick in the draft. They likely missed out on the chance to draft Cade Cunningham but could look to land another big-name player in a trade.

The Thunder could be the team to call. Oklahoma City has been another team that has been selling big names over the years. They also sent Westbrook away along with Paul George. This had landed them a plethora of draft capital and they could continue to build it in this deal.
