The Phoenix Suns are in the NBA Finals. They have gone from a team near the bottom of the league to one of the best and there is one reason — Chris Paul. The Suns finally added another star next to Devin Booker and it is paying off greatly.

Moving forward, this is something they could continue to do. Phoenix has plenty of star power and surrounded both Paul and Booker with strong role players. Mikal Bridges and Deandre Ayton are looking like promising young players with a bright future.

The Suns are going to be strong as long as they have the right supporting cast. They can continue to build up with a trade such as this one with the Detroit Pistons.

Detroit was aggressive last offseason, especially in the frontcourt. Jerami Grant was their big free-agent signing and it paid off right away. He turned in his best individual season of his career but that did not translate to team success.

The Pistons began selling some of their veteran players, such as Derrick Rose. Blake Griffin agreed to a buyer with the team before signing with the Brooklyn Nets. Grant has two years left on his deal and could be an intriguing trade piece heading to the offseason.

There will be plenty of teams interested in a player like Jerami Grant, especially after looking at the year he had. Let’s take a look at how they could land Grant in Phoenix next year.
