New York doesn’t make either of their first-round picks
With a few weeks to go until the 2021 NBA Draft, the New York Knicks hold two first-round picks. New York has the 19th and 21st overall picks in the first round, giving them options on how they want to improve their roster.
Adding more young pieces is certainly a path the team can take, developing more players that have an opportunity to become franchise building blocks.
On the other hand, the Knicks could put those picks on the trade block in hopes to get proven commodities in return.
It’s no secret that New York wants to make a splash move this offseason to incite more excitement in the fanbase.
