What a season it was for the New York Knicks in 2020-21. Fans were actually proud to walk outside with a Knicks jersey on as Tom Thibodeau led the team to its first NBA playoff berth since the 2012-13 season.
Even though New York would be ousted in the first round of the playoffs by the Atlanta Hawks, there were more positives than negatives to take away for the Knicks.
Most importantly, the team showed that they are moving in the right direction toward becoming a contender in the Eastern Conference.
New York has a ways to go before that becomes reality, but this season was a stellar start for the Thibodeau era.
