Using Spencer Dinwiddie in a sign-and-trade would be the easiest avenue for the Brooklyn Nets to take in upgrading their roster. One player that would fit the bill would be Maxi Kleber of the Dallas Mavericks.

Kleber would provide the Nets with some much-needed depth and rim protection at the center spot. For long stretches in the postseason, Jeff Green was playing the center spot for Brooklyn.

While he performed admirably, Brooklyn needed to add some size to its rotation and Maxi Kleber would accomplish that.

Kleber is also a strong 3-point shooter, as he has knocked down 36.8 percent of his attempts in his career. His percentage has done up every season in the NBA, as he connected on a career-high 41 percent this past season.

Maxi Kleber is also signed through 2023, giving the Nets some long-term security so they are not scrambling to fill out their roster every offseason with serviceable players.
