The Boston Celtics didn’t waste any time moving on from Kemba Walker this NBA offseason, trading him to the Oklahoma City Thunder in June.
Boston got Al Horford, Moses Brown, and a future second-round pick in exchange for Walker, a 2021 first-round pick (No. 16 overall), and a future second-round pick.
It is assumed that the Thunder will work with Walker to find him a new team for next season, seeing that they aren’t a team prepared to compete for a title yet.
Ever since Walker was traded to the Thunder, we’ve seen teams like the Chicago Bulls, the New Orleans Pelicans, the Los Angeles Lakers, the Los Angeles Clippers, the New York Knicks, and the Miami Heat listed as potential landing spots for the veteran point guard.
