Portland Trail Blazers Receive: G Jordan Clarkson, F/G Joe Ingles, F Royce O’Neale, No. 30 pick and 2024 first-round pick

CJ McCollum is the clear centerpiece going back to the Utah Jazz in this NBA trade scenario. He is a strong option at the shooting-guard position and one that many teams will be interested in if he is on the block.

Utah may have the assets they need to send back, which could put them near the top of the destinations list. However, it would only be in a situation where the Portland Trail Blazers remain committed to building around Damian Lillard given the lack of rebuilding assets the Jazz have to offer.

Jordan Clarkson put up an incredible season for the Jazz off the bench. They could look to take advantage of his value and move him in Portland in this deal. Joe Ingles and Royce O’Neal, along with two first-round picks, would round out the return.

There is a clear need to continue to add more wing talent for the Trail Blazers. Portland would do precisely that without being burdened long-term with salary obligations. Keep in mind, the team already has Robert Covington, so they’d be building something intriguing with O’Neale and Ingles.
