Phoenix Suns, Milwaukee Bucks, 2021 NBA Finals
NBA Analysis Network

It is finally time for the NBA Finals and this year, we have a very interesting matchup between the Milwaukee Bucks and Phoenix Suns. Both of these teams have been very dominant teams all season long, but only one of them can come out on top to be crowned World Champions!

The Bucks will be playing in the NBA Finals for the first-time since 1974 and in large part because of how well they have played defensively in these playoffs. The Heat, Nets and Hawks were some of the best offensive teams in the Eastern Conference during the regular season, yet the Bucks have only allowed 103.7 points per game to their opponents in these playoffs, second-best in the league.

The Suns find themselves in the NBA Finals for the first-time since 1993 and much like the Bucks, they also have put an emphasis on being a great defensive team. They finished the regular season ranked 9th in defensive rating and in these playoffs, they are allowing just 101.9 points per game to their opponents, the best in the league in-front of the Bucks.

There is very little separation between these two teams in this NBA Finals matchup and we saw this during the regular season as well! The Suns and Bucks played each other twice in the regular season, the Suns winning both of these games, but each game was decided by just one point!
