The Denver Nuggets have been one of the top teams in the Western Conference over the last two years. They have been unable to reach the NBA Finals but have advanced to later rounds. It is that that the Nuggets look at moves that will have them ready to win a championship next season.

There is no doubt that the Nuggets have the star power in place. Nikola Jokic was named the league’s MVP this season. He is the best center in the league and has a versatile skill set that is difficult to defend.

Jamal Murray suffered a knee injury during the regular season that kept him out of the playoffs. This was a huge blow to the lineup and was a main reason why the Nuggets were eliminated in the second round by the Phoenix Suns.

The Nuggets made a trade deadline deal to acquire Aaron Gordon. They clearly thought they needed some more pieces to get over the hump and that notion could continue in the offseason.
