26. Denver Nuggets
Alperen Sengun, C, Turkey
Sengun has some serious value in this position for the Denver Nuggets. He would have a chance to learn from the reigning MVP of the league. Nikola Jokic could mentor Sengun and teach him the ways of a big man who can step out and shoot. Sengun is comfortable with the ball in his hands and can square up to the basket from the elbow. There is plenty of room for growth but Sengun will come into the league ready to contribute.

27. Brooklyn Nets
Greg Brown, PF, Texas
There is something interesting about the connection between Greg Brown and the Brooklyn Nets. This might be his chance to be taken in the first round. He is extremely raw but could be one of the best athletes in the draft. He is a difficult shot maker and can dunk with the best of them. The Nets are a win-now team and Brown would continue to give them depth in the frontcourt. He would be able to come off the bench and provide a spark for the team in the middle of games.
28. Philadelphia 76ers
Ayo Dosunmu, SG, Illinois
If Ayo Dosunmu falls to No. 28, the Philadelphia 76ers should run to the podium. It is going to be a busy offseason for the Sixers and it will be centered around Ben Simmons. It was a disappointing finish to the season for the top seed in the Eastern Conference and big changes could be coming. It would be wise to continue to add shooters around Joel Embiid. Dosunmu is a guard who has played with a strong big man in college in Kofi Cockburn. His experience would fit in well with a Sixers’ team looking to make runs in the postseason.
29. Phoenix Suns
Nah’Shon Hyland, PG, VCU
Nah’Shon Hyland is one of those players who will have great value following the NBA Draft combine. At VCU, Hyland scored 19.5 points per game a season ago and showed an ability to score at all three levels. What better situation to land in than with Chris Paul and Devin Booker? The Phoenix Suns have built great depth off the bench and Hyland would be able to add to that. He is a player to keep an eye on movig forward. If you have not heard of him yet, you will soon.
30. Utah Jazz
Usman Garuba, PF, Spain
Usman Garuba rounds out the first round. He is one of the biggest question marks in the NBA Draft and it is because he did not put up gaudy numbers on the offensive end. This should not shy teams away from him as a prospect. Garuba is an elite defender on the block. On a winning team like Utah, Garuba could develop into a solid big man with a high ceiling in the league.
