Pascal Siakam
Prediction: Traded to Golden State Warriors
Do the Golden State Warriors decide to enter win-now mode and add experienced players around Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green? Or does Golden State elect to build toward the future while Thompson returns to the lineup?
My money is on the Warriors choosing to target proven players this offseason in hopes to lengthen their window to win a title with their talented trio. Pascal Siakam certainly could be that player.
Given that, James Wiseman and Golden State’s first-round picks in the 2021 NBA Draft could be available in potential trade talks. While he didn’t have a dominant rookie season, it takes time for big men to hit their stride sometimes.
The Toronto Raptors are a team that could be of interest in Wiseman and the first-round picks. Toronto is likely expecting Kyle Lowry to walk in NBA free agency, leading them to enter a new era in the franchise’s history. Could this lead to a Pascal Siakam trade?

They still have a solid foundation with Fred VanVleet, OG Anunoby, Pascal Siakam, and Chris Boucher. But Siakam has been spoken about as a possible trade candidate, and the Warriors have reportedly expressed interest in him. I envision Golden State sending enough to get a deal done for Siakam this summer.
