Prediction: Remains with Washington Wizards

Booooooo. I know that we are all rooting for Bradley Beal to be freed from the Washington Wizards, but I don’t see it coming into fruition yet.

The Wizards made an improbable playoff run this season after experiencing injury issues and other concerns early in the season.

The duo of Bradley Beal and Russell Westbrook seemed to work well prior to being eliminated in the playoffs, which could have gave him confidence that he can make it work in 2021-22. That being said, maybe another early elimination in the playoffs and a coaching change is enough for Beal to provoke a trade this summer?

Bradley Beal would undoubtedly become a hot commodity if he were to request a trade this offseason. However, he’s remained committed to Washington, and there haven’t been any tell-all signs that point toward him wanting out.

While I believe Bradley Beal gives the Wizards another year to get things figured out, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see him traded before the trade deadline next season if Washington decides to start fresh. There is definitely a ton of pressure on the Wizards to make sure they surround Beal with more talent this offseason.
