It was another disappointing end of the year for the Denver Nuggets. They were eliminated by the Phoenix Suns of the Western Conference Semifinals of the NBA playoffs. This is a team ready to win now with one of the best players in the league in Nikola Jokic.

If the Nuggets want to continue trending in the right direction, they could look to make a deal for another impact guard. Jamal Murray missed the postseason with an injury and this impacted the team greatly. \

The Nuggets can look to get another backcourt piece to help them moving forward. If the front office wants to make a deal, it would make sense to look for a rebuilding team like the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Oklahoma City is in full rebuild mode. They have loaded up on draft picks over the next half decade in hopes of rebuilding the team in some capacity. Sam Presti clearly has a plan for this franchise and he will have to execute it moving forward. It will be interesting to see how he handles the backcourt.
