Terrence Ross – Orlando Magic

An interesting veteran player that should be available in trade talks this summer is Terrence Ross. He has been in Orlando since the middle of the 2016-17 season, but with them heading towards a rebuild, the Magic could definitely look to leverage Ross for a future draft pick.

Not to mention, the Magic have the 5th and 8th picks in the 2021 NBA Draft, which could supply them with the necessary assets they need to potentially look and move up in the draft. Orlando has a bunch of possibilities of how they want to approach the draft, but ending up with one of the top draftees could definitely help escalate their rebuild process.

Jalen Green is a guy that Magic have had their eyes on throughout the pre-draft process, but chances are not good for him being on the board at 5th overall. Could Orlando use this knowledge and opportunity to move up and take Green?

Trading Terrence Ross to the Cavaliers for the 3rd overall pick to do so definitely is not a bad idea for the Magic, but again, it all goes back to what this front-office’s vision is and what they plan on doing with their two draft picks inside the Top-8. It will undoubtedly be something to watch in NBA trade rumors.
