Prediction: Signs with the Los Angeles Clippers in a sign-and-trade

Across the league, there were countless injuries to important players, and the Brooklyn Nets experienced quite a few of them.

Besides the late-season injuries to James Harden, Kyrie Irving, and Kevin Durant, the Nets lost Spencer Dinwiddie early in the season to a torn ACL. Dinwiddie has served as a marquee member of Brooklyn’s roster in recent years, putting together his best season in 2019-2020.

During the 2019-20 season, Dinwiddie notched a career-best 20.6 points and 6.8 assists per game for the Nets.

Despite his season-long injury this season, Dinwiddie has been working tirelessly to put himself in a position to get a nice payday in NBA free agency. Reports have surfaced that Spencer Dinwiddie is interested in signing with either the Lakers or the Clippers in the offseason.

Of the two teams, the Clippers may have a bit more to offer in terms of a sign-and-trade, which puts them in a decent position to get the 28-year-old point guard.
