1. Detroit Pistons
Cade Cunningham, PG, Oklahoma State
As if we needed more reason to believe that Cunningham will go first overall, there was a report following the lottery that he will only visit with the Pistons. This is an easy selection here that will be a constant in mock drafts across the board. Cunningham is a shot-creator and playmaker that can become a star at the next level. The Pistons have their next franchise player on the way.

2. Houston Rockets
Jalen Suggs, PG, Gonzaga
The Houston Rockets missed out on the top pick and now they will have a decision to make. There are plenty of intriguing players on the board but Jalen Suggs could be the pick here. He has All-Star potential at the next level because of his speed, agility, and pure playmaking ability. Suggs is a fiery competitor that can bring a lot to a rebuilding team. If Suggs becomes more consistent from the three-point line, he will progress nicely.
3. Cleveland Cavaliers
Evan Mobley, C, USC
The Cleveland Cavaliers have had great luck in the draft lottery over the years and this is another instance. They were able to sneak into the top three and if Evan Mobley falls into their lap, this is an easy pick. The Cavaliers are strong in the backcourt with Collin Sexton and Darius Garland.
Mobley would be that presence down low that the team needs. He is a defensive stud that can handle the ball on the offensive end like a guard. Mobley is comfortable facing the basket and shooting from mid-range.

4. Toronto Raptors
Jalen Green, SG, G-League Ignite
The Toronto Raptors are another team that benefited greatly on the night of the lottery. After a down year, the Raptors landed in the top five and could have a chance to land Jalen Green. A potential backcourt mate for Fred VanVleet, Green showed his ability to be an elite scorer with great athleticism in the G-League.
He shot 36.5% from beyond the arc last season. Green has been a top-five pick in all mocks and he could continue to climb up the board, but there is no chance he falls out of the top five.
5. Orlando Magic
Jonathan Kuminga, SF, G-League Ignite
There is a chance that Jonathan Kuminga could be jumped here but he still seems to be one of the big five prospects in this draft. Kuminga needs to improve as a jump shooter but his 6-foot-8 frame and athleticism makes him a potential star in the league. Kuminga could join an intriguing core of Markelle Fultz and Cole Anthony in Orlando if they want to add another versatile player to the lineup.
