Chicago Bulls
One sneaky team that will be looking to add a point guard in the near future and could potentially make a play at a guy like Kemba Walker are the Chicago Bulls. Ever since Derrick Rose blew out his knees and was not the same for the Bulls, they have been looking for their next talented guard and now with Coby White out 4+ months after having offseason shoulder surgery, they desperately need a point guard.

Kemba Walker checks all the boxes for the Bulls in terms of being an offensive-minded point guard who can play next to other established All-Star talents. With Zach LaVine continuing to grow and Nikola Vucevic being named an All-Star for the second-time in his career this season, the Bulls have two key talents on their roster, but they need that third key player to push them over the edge.
Walker can absolutely be this kind of guy for the Bulls, that is if they are willing to pay his price tag. The 4x All-Star guard is owed $36M for the 2021-22 season and then has a $37.6M player option for the 2022-23 season. As of right now, all indications point towards Walker playing through the end of his contract, which means the Bulls would be responsible for $73.6M over the next two seasons should they add Kemba Walker.
For a team with a bunch of young players and not much talent outside of their starting rotation, this may not be the smartest move, especially when they could target a guy like Lonzo Ball in free agency, who would likely cost them close to $15M less per season.
Kemba Walker would fit in well with the Chicago Bulls, but that price tag is a lot to ask for from the Bulls, which is why they may not be interested once this trade between Boston and OKC goes through.
