Does this trade make sense for the Portland Trail Blazers?

It could finally be time that the Portland Trail Blazers decide to blow it up a bit and make that blockbuster that we have been waiting for. Moving Damian Lillard would be the ultimate surprise and splash. If they can land a deal like this one, it might have to be something to think about moving forward.

Jamal Murray would come in and replace Damian Lillard in the backcourt. The Blazers would be losing a bit but Murray has proven that he is a big-game player and a star at the point-guard position. He would join McCollum as the new duo but they would also get Porter Jr. in the lineup. He struggled with injuries early on in his career but has been healthy and showing that star potential.

Michael Porter Jr. has a high ceiling and is an option that would have bring another dynamic to the offense in Portland. The Blazers would get two big-time players in this deal that could help them right away. The contract of Lillard would also be off the books. This would allow Portland to be aggressive in pursuit of other players.

Portland is looking for anything that could help them get to that championship level — or at least to the second round. If they want to shock the world, this is a deal we could see. It will be interesting to see if they decide to move Lillard without him demanding a trade.
