Kyle Lowry
Another unlikely option — but one the Bulls would love to get — is Kyle Lowry, who is primed to enter NBA free agency this offseason. At 35 years old, Lowry would probably prefer to play for a team that is close to or are a team contending for a championship.

If Lowry wanted to go to a team like the Bulls, he’d be much better returning to the Toronto Raptors rather than joining a team like Chicago that is quite a ways away from pushing for a title.
Even if the Raptors and Lowry agree a sign-and-trade would work best for both sides, there’s no reason why Toronto would choose Chicago as a landing spot. Nevertheless, it would be wise for the Bulls to at least toss their hat in the ring for the Lowry sweepstakes this summer. Adding an experienced player like Lowry would work wonders for an inexperienced squad like Chicago.
Despite playing in his 15th season in 2020-2021, Lowry still compiled 17.2 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 7.3 assists per game for the Raptors. The Villanova product would also shoot an efficient 39.6 percent from beyond the arc, which is the third-highest mark of his career. Even when Lowry doesn’t have the ball, he can excel in multiple areas of a game, making him exactly what the Bulls are looking for in a point guard.
