Karl-Anthony Towns
Speaking of players that may or may not be available for the right price this offseason. Karl-Anthony Towns is being wasted away on a team like the Minnesota Timberwolves, who aren’t anywhere close to competing for contention in the Western Conference. It’s just a matter of whether or not this is the summer that Towns finally caves in and realizes that his talents would be better suited elsewhere.

Karl-Anthony Towns is one of the premier centers in the NBA, and he would get more recognition for how special he’s been if he were playing for a bigger-market team. Since his stellar rookie season in 2015-2016, Towns has posted five consecutive seasons of 20+ points, 10+ rebounds, and 1+ block per game for the Timberwolves.
To put the cherry on top, in today’s league dominated by outside shooting, Towns has made 39.7 percent of his three-point shots in the last five years.
Getting an elite center would allow Adebayo to play power forward more often, which could lead to mismatches on the offensive end. Running out a front court trio of Jimmy Butler, Bam Adebayo, and Karl-Anthony Towns would definitely put Miami in the discussion of being a contender in the Eastern Conference. However, the Heat would need the green light from the Timberwolves to begin making an offer that could possibly lure the All-Star big man out of Minnesota.
