If you’re a fan of the Miami Heat, you’re disappointed in how the 2020-21 NBA season concluded, in which the Milwaukee Bucks dispatched the Heat in four games in the first round of the playoffs.

At the same time, fans in Miami are also expecting an offseason that nets them a star player or two, especially with Pat Riley at the helm. Riley has never been one to settle, and this summer shouldn’t be any different.

Following a quick exodus from the postseason, along with having a fantastic duo in Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo, the Heat are going to be an active team this offseason. Miami will have a decent amount of cap space to work with, which could be increased if the team elects to move on from Goran Dragic and Andre Iguodala.

Regardless of what Miami does with Dragic and Iguodala, they are going to be aggressive in pursuing the big-name players that available. Whether it be in free agency or on the trade market, Riley is all about making moves that puts his team in a position to compete for a title.
