Houston Rockets Receive: G Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, F Kyle Kuzma

This would be a simple swap with two players going to each team. Eric Gordon would be the centerpiece of this deal going to the Lakers but they were also get a promising talent and Danuel House Jr. 

In return, Houston would get some of the Lakers top trade pieces over the years. It seems as if Kyle Kuzma has been in NBA trade rumors for quite some time. He survived the deal that brought Anthony Davis to town but it is only a matter of time before he was born. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope would also go to Houston.

The Lakers would clear $3.9 million in salary cap space by executing this particular NBA trade scenario. Eric Gordon will earn $18.2 million during the upcoming season and is signed for the next three years while Danuel House Jr. is entering the final year of his deal and will receive $3.8 million.

Houston would receive Kyle Kuzma in the first year of his three-year deal, which will land him $13 million annually. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope will also receive $13 million during the upcoming season and is under contract for the next two seasons.
