Toronto Raptors
Things went awry for the Toronto Raptors this season due to COVID-19 issues and injuries to vital players on the roster. The Raptors concluded the year with a dismal 27-45 record, which was good enough for the 12th seed in the Eastern Conference. Following a disappointing year, Toronto could very well have a new-look roster in place in 2021-22.

Kyle Lowry is an impending free agent and it remains to be seen if he’s interested in making a return to the Raptors. Given Lowry’s status, Pascal Siakam has emerged as a potential trade candidate in rumors this offseason. Siakam is a two-way wing player, and with the lack of two-way wings in the NBA, he’s a valuable player.
The Mavericks could desperately use a player like Siakam alongside Doncic, especially if Siakam can improve his outside shooting efficiency. Siakam is capable of handling the ball, allowing Doncic to create more post-up situations, and work off-ball more often.
Getting Siakam and another potential star this offseason could be exactly what Dallas needs to make themselves legitimate contenders in the Western Conference.
