Last season, the Miami Heat were the team to emerge from the Eastern Conference en route to a series in the NBA Finals against the Los Angeles Lakers. Even after losing in a hard-fought series, there were reasons to believe that the Heat could carry over their success into this season. But in the first round of this year’s postseason, Miami would be ousted in just four games by the Milwaukee Bucks.

The rapid elimination from the playoffs showed Pat Riley that the current roster isn’t good enough to compete for a title. That means that Riley is going to do everything that he possibly can to convince a star or two to join the organization this offseason. When has Riley ever shied away from targeting big-name players in hopes to win a championship? Never.
Aside from Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo, no one on the Miami Heat’s roster should be untouchable this offseason. Considering that, the Heat are indubitably going to be one of the most aggressive teams on the trade market in the coming months.
Just like most teams, if Bradley Beal is put on the NBA trade block, the Miami Heat would become one of the top suitors for the Florida product.
