Dallas Mavericks
It goes without saying that Luka Doncic is on the path to becoming a historically good player for the Dallas Mavericks. In his first three seasons in the NBA, Doncic has earned two All-Star nods and he’s eclipsed 27+ points per game in back-to-back seasons.

Despite losing in the first round to the Los Angeles Clippers, Doncic showed once again that he’s here to stay as one of the faces of the league for years to come. Now, the Mavericks need to be aggressive in surrounding their superstar with talent.
But while Doncic continues to put up staggering numbers, the experiment of Kristaps Porzingis being his Mavericks sidekick hasn’t panned out. Porzingis is a shell of his former self due to injuries and he was an afterthought versus the Clippers in the first round, which is something that has reportedly ‘upset’ the Latvian forward.
There’s a chance that Mark Cuban elects to move on from Porzingis this offseason, putting the Mavericks in a position to find Doncic a new running mate. With Dallas needing to do everything in their power to make Doncic want to stay a member of the Mavericks for his entire career, they should be seeking out a trade for a star this offseason.
