The emergence of Julius Randle — who won the NBA’s Most Improved Player award — and the improvements that RJ Barrett showed are reasons to be optimistic if you’re a fan of the Knicks.
Though, in their series against the Hawks, it was evident that New York lacked firepower on the offensive end. Following the team’s quick exit, it’s been well-documented that the Knicks are going to be aggressive this offseason.
New York would love to pair Randle and Barrett with a star player this offseason and that could possibly happen via trade. If Bradley Beal is made available or if he requests a trade from the Washington Wizards, expect the Knicks to make a serious push for the three-time All Star.
