Other NBA Players Receiving Votes
Only 15 players can be named to the All-NBA teams, which makes things tough in terms of voting some guys in because every year, it seems like there are 20+ players that are more than deserving of being recognized on this list.
This year, Russell Westbrook (Wizards), Jayson Tatum (Boston Celtics), Zion Williamson (Pelicans), Bam Adebayo (Heat), Donovan Mitchell (Jazz), James Harden (Rockets/Nets), Kevin Durant (Nets), Devin Booker (Suns), Domantas Sabonis (Pacers), Trae Young (Hawks) and Clint Capela (Hawks) were all left off the All-NBA Teams after receiving votes from media members.

Westbrook being left off the list snaps a 6-year streak of him making at least one of the All-NBA teams and his former teammate, James Harden, was left off the list as well, snapping a four-year streak of making the All-NBA First Team.
It was very surprising to see Jayson Tatum, Donovan Mitchell and Devin Booker all left off of this All-NBA list as well given how great of seasons they had. Tatum was one of the most electrifying scorers during the regular season, scoring 60 points on April 30 against the Spurs and averaging 26.4 points per game.

Donovan Mitchell was the best player on the best team in the league, the Utah Jazz, yet he was not recognized as one of the Top-15 players in the league this year. Once again, the media has slept on both the Jazz, by not voting in Donovan Mitchell, and they have slept on the Suns, by not voting in Devin Booker.
There are more than enough talented players in the league to make a All-NBA Fourth Team and maybe even a Fifth Team as well, but everybody cannot be recognized and as a result, some All-Star caliber players were left off of this year’s All-NBA Teams.
