The Boston Celtics have an underwhelming year after a run to the Eastern Conference Finals in the bubble. They were hit hard with injuries toward the end of the season and this landed them an early exit at the hands of the Brooklyn Nets. Going into the offseason, new President of Basketball Operations Brad Stevens has a lot on his plate.

Stevens will begin by looking for a new head coach and could also be in the market for a new point guard. If Walker is on his way out, it would behoove the team to get one back in the deal. This is where White comes into play. In his second year, White showed his ability to score but was never that consistent starting option at point guard.

This is what he could turn into in Boston because if their player development and also the role that he would be in. White would not have to do too much in Boston because of the supporting cast and this could ultimately make him better.

One thing is for sure, the Celtics are not happy with how they finish the season. Expect there to be some noise coming out of Boston as the playoffs wind down and teams begin looking to the offseason.
