Does this trade make sense for the Chicago Bulls?

The Chicago Bulls are a franchise with a rich history of winning. That is not what they have done in recent years. Kemba Walker gives the team another scoring for it at all three levels. They already have LaVine, who is one of the top scores in the league. The frontcourt is strong but the team needs to continue to build and that is where a trade like this could come in to play.

When everyone thought the Bulls were going to sell, they flipped the script and decided to be buyers of the NBA trade deadline. They could do the same in the offseason and since they lack premier NBA Draft assets, they won’t be able to have the luxury of being too picky. Taking on a bad contract to add talent could be the best way and that’s what they would be doing in this instance with Kemba Walker.

This aggressive nature is what is going to give Billy Donovan a lineup that he can win with. It will be interesting to see which direction the front office goes with their next big move.
