Collin Sexton may have caused some disgruntled feelings from teammates. This is something that would not happen in Portland because he would not be the top option within the offense. They would have to take on the contract of Love but he would bring some postseason experience to a team that could use it.
Damian Lillard has made a name for himself as one of the best clutch performers in the league but needs another option that has been there before. As for Sexton, he took that next step this season and would benefit greatly from joining a backcourt where there is an all-time great.
The Trail Blazers need to do something this offseason to continue to contend in a difficult Western Conference. This would be a surprising deal to see but it could be the blockbuster that both sides are looking for.
