Does the Bucks Game 3 victory mean they are back in this series?

Milwaukee Bucks, Brooklyn Nets, NBA Playoffs

This Bucks-Nets Eastern Conference Semifinals series was expected to be “THE” matchup to watch in this year’s NBA postseason, but through two games in this series, it looked like the Bucks’ season was quickly coming to an end. Brooklyn took care of home court advantage, winning the first two games of this series at home and doing so by an average point differential of +23.5 points.

However, the Bucks were not about to keel over and die in Game 3, as they fought with the Nets for all 48-minutes in this game, resulting in them pulling out a slim 86-83 victory. This was not an easy win for Milwaukee though and they had to give it everything they had.

After the Bucks took a 21-point lead early on in the first quarter, the Nets stormed back in the second quarter to pull within three at the half. From Giannis Antetokounmpo asserting his dominance in the paint, Kevin Durant knocking down ridiculous shots and even P.J. Tucker and KD getting into it on the court, this game had it all.

The Bucks desperately needed to win Game 3 to avoid falling in a 3-0 hole in this series, but can they carry any momentum that they may have from this victory into Game 4 on Sunday afternoon?

Only 13 teams in NBA playoff history have ever overcome a 3-1 deficit in a playoff series, which is why Game 4 is another “must-win” game for the Bucks.

With that said, let’s take a look at three key takeaways from Game 3 in this series and take a look at if this Bucks win means they are back in the series.
