Acquiring Walker would enable them to do both, as he would be a good backcourt partner for Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the Celtics would almost assuredly attach an asset along with him to facilitate a deal.
There may actually not be a more oddly ideal trade suitor for Kemba Walker than the Thunder for a variety of key reasons. Not only will they have salary cap flexibility at their disposal, but the Celtics need to add more talent at the center position. Why not go for a trade centered around Al Horford?
The Thunder already will be shopping Al Horford this offseason after there was a mutual agreement for him to sit out for the remainder of the season. He has strong familiarity with Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown to begin with, too.
