Oubre Jr. began breaking out with the Phoenix Suns during the 2019-20 season before he a part of the Chris Paul trade. He came to OKC in that deal but was flipped to the Golden State Warriors less than a week later for draft picks.
While he struggled at times with his 3-point shot in Golden State, Kelly Oubre Jr. has shown that he is someone that can score the ball and chip in help in other areas. He would be a big upgrade for Oklahoma City on the wing and give them a much-needed second scorer to pair with SGA.
