Gary Trent Jr.
When you are in a position that the Thunder are, it will be difficult to convince free agents to sign with you. They will have to overpay a little bit, but a player such as Gary Trent Jr. would be worth it to OKC.

Gary Trent Jr. was acquired by the Toronto Raptors before the NBA trade deadline in March from the Portland Trail Blazers. Portland sent Rodney Hood along with Trent Jr. to Toronto in exchange for Norman Powell. As a restricted free agent, Toronto has the right to match any offer sheet that Trent Jr. signs.
Trent Jr. would give the Thunder a backcourt to build around for the future, as he is only 22 years old, the same age as Gilegous-Alexander. Trent Jr.’s ability to score at every level would make him an excellent piece for the Thunder’s core going forward.
Gary Trent Jr. will be expensive but is someone worth looking into as the Thunder continue their rebuild.
