Duncan Robinson

In the current NBA landscape, spacing is key. If you do not have guys on the floor that can knock down 3-point shots, it is extremely difficult to run your offense. There probably isn’t a player available this offseason that can knock down perimeter jump shots as efficiently as Duncan Robinson.

Duncan Robinson is a huge defensive liability, but with how strong of defenders the other youngsters in Orlando’s frontcourt are, they could cover up some of his deficiencies. As a 42.3 percent shooter in his career, he makes up for those shortcomings.

Landing a shooter on the wing is imperative to the Magic opening up their offense. None of their point guards are great shooters, at least not yet, so having someone that can help space the floor so they can attack the basket would be helpful.

It will require a significant offer to convince not just Duncan Robinson to depart from the Miami Heat, but for the team to decide to not match the signed offer sheet, if he were to make such a move.
