The Chicago Bulls and Boston Celtics are both going to be intriguing teams to keep an eye on this offseason, as both franchises are going to look to make roster moves. For the Bulls, they are looking to get back into the playoffs, while the Celtics are going to try and make moves to make a deeper run. Kemba Walker could be a name that both teams have interest in making a deal centered around.
Walker was mentioned in trade rumors last offseason and leading up to the NBA trade deadline. Boston opted not to make a move, but the Bulls were one team mentioned last offseason as a potential landing spot for the star point guard.
During the 2020-21 NBA season with the Celtics, Walker ended up averaging 19.3 points per game to go along with 4.9 assists and 4.0 rebounds. He shot 42 percent from the floor overall and knocked down 36 percent of his three-point attempts. Those numbers aren’t terribly efficient, but they aren’t horrible either.
A team like the Bulls would make sense as a potential trade partner for the Celtics. They need a true franchise caliber point guard and Walker could be the best option available. Chicago would also have a decent “Big Three” of Walker, Zach LaVine, and Nikola Vucevic.
All of that being said, let’s dive in and take a look at the best trade offer the Bulls could make to the Celtics to acquire Kemba Walker.
