Collin Sexton may only have one year left on his current contract, but having him in the building for a full season could temp him to agree to a longer term contract. As long as the Knicks are willing to hand out a hefty contract extension to Sexton during the 2022 NBA offseason.
Throughout the 2020-21 NBA season, Collin Sexton showed an intriguing ability to put points on the board in an efficient manner. For reference, he averaged 24.3 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 4.4 assists while shooting 47.5 percent from the floor and 37.1 percent from beyond the arc.
Collin Sexton would be a great teammate to add to the Knicks and build a bright core of Sexton, RJ Barrett, and Julius Randle in the Big Apple. Having three main scoring options to turn to throughout games would go a long way in making the Knicks a tougher team to stop.
