Duncan Robinson is a career 42.3 percent shooter from 3-point land and would give the Grizzlies a much-needed perimeter threat. His shooting prowess would fit in well in Memphis, helping to open up driving lanes for Morant and Brooks to attack the basket.
For how good Duncan Robinson is at shooting the ball, he is just as poor defensively. Having players around him that can help hide him on that side of the court is imperative, and the Grizzlies can provide that. They were sixth this season in defensive rating, so you know they get after it on that end of the court.
Deploying Duncan Robinson similarly as the Heat did is something Memphis is capable of doing with the players on their roster.
