Donovan Mitchell is healthy and lethal
After missing Game 1 due to a lingering ankle injury that he suffered in April, Donovan Mitchell played in the rest of the games in this series and was dominant. From Game 2 on, Mitchell averaged 28.5 points, 5.8 assists and shot 45% from the floor, 40% from three-point range.
With him looking fully healthy, it is clear to see that Mitchell is one of the best offensive threats in the entire league and given all of the pieces around him, Donovan Mitchell may be one of the most lethal players in the playoffs this year.

Not only can he knock down multiple three-point shots on back-to-back possessions, but Mitchell has made tremendous strides into becoming a key facilitator for this Jazz offense. His first few years in the league, Mitchell was not much of a playmaker for others but now, next to Mike Conley, he is dishing out assists and making everybody around him better.
The jump he has made from being a key talent in the Jazz system to being an NBA superstar is quite remarkable, which is why he is set up for a lot of success not just in the future, but now in the playoffs. Last year against the Nuggets in the postseason, Donovan Mitchell had some monumental performances, scoring 50+ points in two games in the same series, which is why he is going to be dangerous in the Western Conference Semifinals.
Whether it is against the Mavericks or the Jazz, Mitchell is going to find a lot of success and continue being the juggernaut that he is on the offensive-end of the court. When he gets going, there is no stopping him, which is why the Jazz should be the favorites in the Western Conference.
