Bradley Beal
Speaking of not needing to explain why the New York Knicks should pursue someone, I shouldn’t need to write out a few sentences on why New York should be clamoring for Bradley Beal. But I’ll do it anyway. Similar to the Knicks, the Washington Wizards were eliminated from the NBA playoffs on Wednesday, giving Washington a head start on what they plan on doing for the future.
Bradley Beal has been adamant about remaining in Washington and hasn’t shown any signs of wanting out. However, maybe losing early in the playoffs again is something that will push the 27-year-old All Star to force a move out of the nation’s capital.

The second-leading scorer in the NBA this season did everything in his power to help the Wizards win, and the team responded by losing in five games to a Philadelphia 76ers squad that was sans Joel Embiid in the last two games.
If the Knicks want to make a serious offer for Bradley Beal, they may need to send Randle in the trade, but that should be something that the team is willing to do. Being able to get Beal to pair with Barrett should be enough to convince another star or two to join the new-look Knicks. While Beal would likely prefer playing elsewhere if it isn’t in Washington, New York should do everything in their power to convince him to play in the Big Apple.
