Golden State Warriors
It was another season that ended in heartbreak for the Golden State Warriors as they fell short of clinching a playoff spot by losing in the play-in tournament. Despite the herculean performance that Curry gave this season, it wasn’t enough to make the Warriors a team to be reckon with.
At the least, fans in the Bay Area can look forward to Klay Thompson making a return to the roster next season following his two-season absence due to injuries.
Also, James Wiseman is expected to develop further this offseason, giving them a possible franchise piece in the front court alongside Draymond Green. That being said, even with Thompson returning, the Warriors need a bit more from NBA free agency before they can be considered a contender again.

If Derrick Rose were to join Golden State, he likely wouldn’t be made a starter, but rather their sixth-man off of the bench. The Warriors need more players that can score on their own outside of Curry and Thompson, and Rose gives them just that. A bench-scoring duo of Rose and Jordan Poole would definitely give Golden State a much-needed boost when Curry and Thompson need to sit.
