Does this trade make sense for the Utah Jazz?
The Utah Jazz will have some decisions to make in the offseason. The team already has $134.1 million on the books for 2021-22 with Mike Conley, Georges Niang, and Ersan Ilyasova set to reach NBA free agency. There are ways to clear spending room by waiving non-guaranteed salaries, but it wouldn’t translate to a substantial difference in the end.

It’s not easy to attract talent in NBA free agency for the Jazz. While Bojan Bogdanovic has made a big impact, it may be wise to look to sell-high on what he’s provided to get younger and make the most of their salary cap spending obligations.
If the Jazz feel as though Kyle Kuzma can be a helpful piece, he would be an intriguing player to target in a potential trade involving Bogdanovic. He will be only 26-years-old in late-July and is coming off a season with averages of 12.9 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 1.9 assists in 68 performances.
Kyle Kuzma primarily serves as a sixth man for the Los Angeles Lakers due to their depth, but he has started a lot of games for the organization as well. He could shoulder a larger role with the Jazz and help add athleticism into the mix. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope is in a similar boat, except he is a veteran addition to the team.
