Does this trade make sense for the Sacramento Kings?

The Kings have been near the bottom of the Western Conference for years now. They have been in rumors because the front office could decide to blow it up this offseason. If they decide to go the other way and add an impact performer, Markkanen could be at the top of their list.

This would be a sign-and-trade deal. It would not cost the Kings much in the trade itself. Marvin Bagley III has not turned into the player that they expected when Sacramento made him the second-overall selection in the 2018 NBA Draft. He could be on the move and Markkanen would be a welcomed addition.

If he can stay on the floor, Markkanen has a chance to thrive along with Fox. The duo would be pick-and-roll threats. Markkanen would be difficult to guard because of his ability to shoot from deep or roll to the basket and score in the lane. It takes a lot to win in the league and the Kings do not have the star power at the moment.
