Sacramento Kings Receive: F Lauri Markkanen (via sign-and-trade)

There is still some value around Lauri Markkanen and the Chicago Bulls need to tap into it sooner rather than later. He has struggled with some injury problems in his career but he is a stretch-four that can knock down a shot from deep and rebound on both ends.

Sacramento seems like a good destination for Markkanen because it would give him a chance to play with an elite guard in Fox and play starting-caliber minutes. His jump shooting ability would be a welcomed addition in both spot-up and pick-and-pop situations.

This would be a player-for-player swap. Markkanen would be on his way to Sacramento and the Bulls would receive a replacement big in Marvin Bagley III. He is another name that has been thrown around in NBA trade rumors for the Kings. This would be a sign-and-trade deal since Markkanen is a restricted free agent this summer.
