If Miami showed interest at the NBA trade deadline, they will assuredly show interest now that Lowry is a free agent. There will be plenty of suitors for Lowry this offseason, as players with as impressive resumes as he don’t become available too often.
Kyle Lowry’s style of play would fit in perfectly with Miami. His presence would give Miami a tenacious trio defensively and would help take some pressure off of Jimmy Butler offensively.
It’s important to note that Kyle Lowry and Jimmy Butler have a strong off-the-court relationship with each other. While he is from Philadelphia and could be intrigued by playing for a dynamic 76ers team, being able to go to South Beach and team up with Butler is quite appealing, too.
