After making a run to the NBA Finals in the Orlando Bubble in 2020, the Miami Heat came into the 2020-21 season with some high expectations. Some people believed Miami was a legitimate title contender, but they fell short of those expectations.
The Heat struggled with injuries and COVID-19 throughout the season, as Duncan Robinson was the only player to appear in all 72 games. Bam Adebayo, Andre Iguodala and Precious Achiuwa were the only other players to play in at least 60 games.
17 different players started a game for Miami this season, including eight that started double-digit games. The lack of chemistry and cohesion led to some rough patches during the season, but Miami still finished 40-32. Unfortunately, that led to a first-round series with a motivated Milwaukee Bucks team that was knocked out of the bubble by Miami.
This offseason, Miami will look to reload once again. With Pat Riley at the helm, you know they will have something up their sleeve to upgrade the roster. Could one of these players be in their plans?
Here are three potential NBA free agency targets for the Miami Heat.
