Does this trade make sense for the Golden State Warriors?

Paul George would be a solid fit in a Warriors system that embraces movement while being able to play off Stephen Curry. Teams like to blitz Curry early and often, George could capitalize on the wing or be the recipient of short-roll passing from Draymond Green on the weak-side.

Being able to have three of the NBA’s elite sharpshooters between Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Paul George would give the Warriors a highly intriguing potential within the half-court offensively. Teams would have a tough time keeping up, to say the least.

It only helps that George is able to make a strong impact defensively, too. Andrew Wiggins had a strong defensive season for the Warriors in 2019-20, so it’s important to not diminish his contributions. However, Paul George is able to provide significant contributions in that regard, too.
